There do exist a lot of people who just simply leap straight up from bed and try and go about their lives, as if being full of vigor at the start of the day, is a completely natural occurrence

Not that there is anything particularly wrong with that old hackneyed cliché “Rise and Shine.” But here a word of caution is certainly the need of the hour, since jumping straight up from a deep sleep does mean courting the risk of a massive heart attack.  As a matter of fact, a few short seconds of rest before your body gets the time adjust from the nocturnal to the diurnal mode may be great idea. However, it does not matter just how energetic you might be, and even if you are just simply overflowing with high voltage, it is still advisable to to refrain from jumping straight out of bed, the very moment you get up.

However, once you are actually out of bed, then it is time to create a simple routine that will help you to derive the very best, from the rest of the day.  Let us see for ourselves, just how such a routine can help us overcame everything from procrastination to tardiness. 

o   Waking up early

This practically ancient proverb still seems to have much the same respect that it did, when it was in fact, first stated by that incomparable American Statesman. There are many reasons for this. Let us check out a few.

o   Watching the sun rise early in the morning

Doubtless, there is something incredibly serene about watching the sun rise.  After all, it does give us hope for a better day ahead and infuses our soul with a certain measure of optimism and tranquility.  Not to mention the raw beauty of a cloudy sunrise with its many colors bursting though the heavens, as if mother nature has gone on a wild painting spree.

o   Increase in productivity

It is elementary really. A person who sleeps half the day away, is seldom (if ever) going to be quite as productive as an individual who gets up at the crack of dawn, and who is moreover, full of zest to take on the challenges of the up and coming day. As a matter of fact, quite a few research studies conducted over the years, have consistently shown that people who wake up early and are highly refreshed and as such, they do not sleepwalk as if they are functioning, for all the world, on auto pilot.

Apart from that, the added hours not only give you more time for additional work, but you are also more alert, both physically and mentally.

In the light of the above, we can easily see that waking up early in the morning has a lot going for it.
